US CLASS SYSTEM

The Class System
United States of America

This is my ongoing hobby page to help document and understand as I see it, my understanding of the American Class System.  I'm just an regular guy so please forgive if it seems elementary.  My goal is to gain understanding and promote discussion on why this occurred and define the proper corrective actions to bring us back to a healthier class system and economy.

Below I have roughly estimated a timeline of the current situation of the American Classes of then and now.

Time Period:  Back Then
1980-1988
Prisons             <+  (back then, there wasn't enough population to consider this its own class)
The Poor          ++
Lower Class    +++++
Middle Class   ++++++++
Mid/Upper      ++++
Upper Class    ++++

Time Period:  Today
????-2015
Prisons              +++      (dealing with poor, nonconformists, and mentally ill by locking them up)
The Poor           ++++
Lower Class      +++++  (many mid. classes knocked down to lower class, no savings/retirement fund)
Middle Class     ++ (erroded by less labor unions, decreased wage, plants moving to other countries)
Mid/Upper        ++  (larger business edged out by Asian trade, wal-mart, etc, =less mid/uppers )
Upper Class      ++++++++ (money goes to 1% and stalls economy)

Explanation:
Prisons             People who are in prison.
The Poor          People who must really heavily or solely on welfare to make it month-to-month.
Lower Class    People/Families where both intake enough money to get by, maybe food stamps.
Middle Class   People/Families who's needs are easily met, own house, car, savings, 401k retirement.
Mid/Upper      Middle/Upper Class, needs met, top 10%, perhaps own lg. business, have broad wealth
Upper Class    The top 1%

The least = Newer Model Minivans with no visible defects, current plates.  (Family Cars)
The most = older model cars, Cadillacs, cars with visible defects, dents, etc, sports cars, muscle cars.

Profiled by Police
Blacks, poor neighborhoods, "high crime" areas.  anyone under 21.

Voice in Government and Politics
The poor are less likely to vote or believe their vote makes a difference

Education
Decreases in education standards in recent years creates this system of poverty and decline because the people lack the necessary intellectual skills to participate in a global politico climate.

Also, important to note for us to pull ahead of other countries, (and in some cases just to keep up)  students need to graduate high school age 14-15 and finish their 4th year of college by age 18-19.
We need to get smarter as a country.

Economy
We need people who can understand a Global Economy and evolve with it.  As the world constantly changes, we need people who understand the impact and can implement smartphones, electric cars, green, off the grid housing and embrace new forms and methods of transportation, energy and goods.  We need to deal with an ever increasing population as we now realize the cure the AIDS is on the horizon and the ability to "print" organs from someone's own body tissue will mean much longer lifespans.

Nutrition
A country that practices poor nutrition who's unhealthy as a whole cannot be at their best.  We need to cut our addition to sugar and replace it with healthier alternatives with more vegetables in our diets.

Sugar is eight times more addictive than cocaine:

Nutrition is heavily linked to class systems because its now cheaper to buy sugar laden products that taste good rather than healthy greens and fruits.  People on food stamps will more readily spend $5.00 on a giant bag of sweetened cereal that will sustain one person (unhealthily) for several days rather than perhaps only 1-2 servings of green, leafy vegetables for the same price.

Christ.  Purina just needs to start making "human chow".  Dog food for humans is all it really is, probably very similar recipes too, with more sugar being added for the humans instead of meat products for the animals.
